Please read them carefully to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

1. General Information
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through the Girlies Hair online store.
1.2 By purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 We reserve the right to modify or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any
changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.

2. Product Information
2.1 We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions, images, and prices.
However, we do not guarantee that all product details are entirely free of errors.
2.2 All prices are listed in ZAR (South African Rand) and are subject to change without notice.
2.3 We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without prior notice.

3. Payment Methods
3.1 Payments can be made through the approved methods listed on our website, including major
credit and debit cards.
3.2 Payment must be received in full before products are dispatched.
3.3 We use a secure payment system, but we are not responsible for any unauthorized transactions
or fraud resulting from the use of our payment gateway.

4. Order Processing and Shipping
4.1 Orders are processed during business hours, and we aim to ship your order within 7–14
working days after receiving full payment.
4.2 Customers only pay for regional shipping; this is a fixed R150 delivery fee.
4.3 We are not liable for delays in shipping due to unforeseen circumstances, such as customs
inspections or courier delays. In the case of a delay, customers will receive a coupon valued at
10% of the purchase amount for use on their next order.

5. Return Policy
At Girlies Hair, we strive to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchases. Please review
our return policy carefully:
5.1 Condition-Based Returns

• Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery.
• Only unworn, unstyled, and uncut wigs in their original packaging (with adjustable bands
intact and lace undamaged) will be eligible for returns.
• Wigs must be returned in the same condition as delivered, with original packaging intact.
• Customers must provide photographic proof of the wig’s condition when initiating a return
request.
• Returns will incur a 10% restocking fee unless you are a VIP Girlies member.
• No exchanges will be allowed.
5.2 Store Credit Only
• Instead of cash refunds, customers will receive store credit equivalent to the value of the
returned item.
• Store credit can only be used for future purchases and is non-transferable.
5.3 Faulty or Defective Wigs
• If the product is faulty or defective upon delivery, returns must be initiated within 14 days of
purchase.
• Please email info@girliehaironlinestore.co.za with pictures and a detailed description of
the defect. We will assess the claim and, if approved, will either replace the item or issue
store credit or a refund.
5.4 Non-Returnable Items
• Custom or personalized wigs (e.g., custom colors, lengths, or styles) are non-returnable.
• Any wigs with damaged lace, altered adjustable bands, or without original packaging will
not be eligible for return.

6. Cancellations
6.1 Cancellations are not permitted once an order is placed. Please review your order carefully
before finalizing the purchase.

7. Warranty and Liability
7.1 Girlies Hair provides a limited warranty that products will be free from manufacturing defects
for 14 days from the date of delivery.
7.2 The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, alterations, or improper care
(e.g., incorrect application of heat styling tools or coloring treatments).
7.3 Girlies Hair is not responsible for any damage or loss caused by the improper use of our
products.
7.4 Our liability for any claim related to a purchased product is limited to the purchase price of that
product.

8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Any personal
information collected during the transaction process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy
Policy.
8.2 We do not share, sell, or distribute your information to third parties without your consent.
8.3 The POPIA act does allow for a soft opt-in for existing customers. Once you purchase from our
store or engaged with our business, We can send you marketing emails about similar products or
services without requiring explicit consent, however you are given the opportunity to opt-out and
block newsletters/advertisements whenever you wish to do so.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All content on the Girlies Hair website, including but not limited to images, product
descriptions, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws.
9.2 No content may be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without the express written consent of
Girlies Hair.

10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Girlies Hair shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages
arising from the use of our products or the inability to use them.
10.2 We are not responsible for any shipping delays or damages caused during transit.

11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
Republic of South Africa.
11.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through
arbitration in accordance with South African law.
